The first step of joining OneHourTranslation is to create an account on it. If you are a translator and want to do translation work then you must select yourself as a translator at the time of registration otherwise you can create your account as a customer too.
How to create an account on Blend?
- Go to the registration page of BlendExpress.
- Make sure you are registering as a translator. For that, you can see the indicator at the top left corner of the website.
- Look at the screenshot, the same information you will have to enter on your side, then click on the Sign Up button.
- A new page will be open. There you have to enter any two of your native languages like Hindi, Marathi, and Bengali.
- Below enter the pair of translation languages in which you want to translate. You can add several pairs by using Add button.
- Below it, select the language if you are ready to do transcription also.
- Transcription means listening to a recorded audio clip and typing exactly what you hear.
- Now select your expertise in order to apply for an Expert Translator status.
- On the next page, you need to upload your Resume (Prefered for translator), ID document, and relevant certificate if you have one.
- The next page will ask you for your photo and a short bio.
- Now you have to select whether you are a translator or transcriptor or you can select both. Below it, the list of software will be shown, select those on which you have worked before.
You have successfully submitted your profile with your resume. Now the expert team of Onehourtranslation will review your application and after 2-3 days of registration, your translator status will become Active. Once you get activated, you will start receiving notifications regarding the jobs which you are fit for.
What payment options are available on Blend (OHT)?
People have a question before earning i.e. how do I get paid or what payment options are available then I want to tell those that there are payment options available like PayPal, Payoneer, and wire transfer. Maybe there are some other payment options also but I don’t know what are exactly those. But you would not find the option to get paid on the website anywhere. Because Blend does not show the payment options until you complete the earning of $20 and the same is the minimum threshold to withdraw the money on Blend.

How do you get jobs on OHT (Blend)?

To join Blend completely you have to pass an online exam which is conducted on their website after account creation. But you will get the chance to give the exam until new recruitment.
Being Blend is a genuine company it has limited work to do. And here translators work as employees of the company, therefore limited slots of employees are available here. If your status is showing pending in your dashboard, then understand that currently, they do not need translators for your languages. But don’t worry, new recruitment keeps coming out here. Once the new recruitment is out, you will be invited for the examination.
After giving the exam you need to do a top in the exam so that you will be considered for further processing. Toppers will get the certificate from Blend on the behalf of their performance in the exam. And after getting certified you will start receiving work and getting paid for it too.
