The world’s longest walk you can start from Cape Town in South Africa to Magadan on Russia’s eastern coast or from Magadan on Russia’s eastern coast and end at Cape Town in South Africa. The distance between these two points is so large that no person has ever walked this far.

Our planet is full of many mysteries, even we humans have not been able to explore the entire planet yet. Our Earth shows us something different at every mile, how adventurous is our planet, our Earth! People have climbed the highest mountains, many went to the deepest part of the ocean and even reached on the moon. But nobody accomplished the longest possible walk, the world’s longest possible path to walk.

What is the world’s longest possible path to walk?

This route starts from Cape Town which is in South Africa and ends at Mahadan which is on the eastern coast of Russia. The distance between these two points is approximately 22,387 kilometres (14000 miles), such a long distance has never been taken by any human being till date.

  • This path is such that you do not need any flight or boat to walk on it.
  • On this route, there is no water lake, river or sea between the two lands so you need to take a flight or ferry to cross the water.
  • This route is very easy, you can easily cross it using your foot only.

The journey from Cape Town to Magadan covers three continents including Africa, Europe, and Asia. This path goes through 16 countries from South Africa → Botswana → Zambia → Tanzania → Burundi → Rwanda → Uganda → South Sudan → Sudan → Egypt → Israel → Jordan → Syria → Turkey → Georgia → Russia. If you continuously keep walking day and night, it takes 4492 hours, which means you will complete this journey in 187 days. If we assumed a walking pace of 8 hours per day, the journey would actually take 562 days.

This journey is many times more challenging than it sounds. No person has ever gone on this journey because it is dangerous and some areas of this route come under conflicted regions of the world. Visa restrictions are also a big reason for not being able to complete this journey.
