The full form of MRF is Madras Rubber Factory Limited. This is the largest tyre manufacturing company in India and it is headquartered in Chennai. The company’s biggest line of production is tyres. Along with tyres, it is also famous for manufacturing treads, tubes and conveyor belts, paints and toys. One more thing which made MRF more popular is it runs MRF Pace Foundation, Chennai and MRF Challenge in motorsport.
History of MRF
Madras Rubber Factory (MRF) Limited was started by Kandathil M. Mammen Mappillai in Tiruvottiyur, Madras (Chennai). This company was started in 1946 with the manufacture of toy balloons. MRF company started manufacturing trade rubber in 1952. This company was given the status of Private Limited in November 1960. The company went public on 1 April 1961, and the office was established in Beirut, Lebanon to promote the export of goods abroad. The company made its first nylon tyre in 1973 and it started from there.

- Conveyor Belting – It works on the production of conveyor belts as name Muscle Flex conveyor belt.
- Pretreads – Along with tyres MRF also make the pretreads for tyres.
- Paints – It makes polyurethane paint and coat, which used in automotive, decorative and industries.

MRF Pace Foundation
